Revival is about you. Revival is about me. Revival is about each individual’s relationships with God.
Hidden from revival history are the thousands of stories of how God touched individual’s lives. We tend to look at revival in a corporate, or group sense. The result is the singular touch of God is lost to our view.
Thousands of people being touched by God at about the same time causes us to see the overall happening. We look at the gross effects on communities, countries, and churches, but forget the specifics of very real people. We don’t know them personally, so it is easy to look past them to see the combined effect.
Revival isn’t about building a bigger church or new buildings. It Is always about the individuals who make up God’s church. God deals with us one at a time, even when it happens to many at once. It still always comes down to individuals; to you and to me.
