Choose your friends and your church wisely

“Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm.” (Proverbs 13:20, ESV)

Whoever you spend your time with will play an important role in developing who you will be. Whatever you want to be more like, establish relationships with people who are already like that.

Some people choose their church by how big the crowds are. Some choose by the programs for their children. They look at the buildings, coffee and doughnuts, parking, bathrooms, etc. While these can be important, they are all just external, fleshly considerations.

The character of the people in charge and those already attending the church is much more important.
